And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the Ministry of Reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

MOR-Bible, which is by God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, grace, God's unmerited divine favor, be to you and peace, an absolute end of all strife or trouble, be to you from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ to the faithful in Christ Jesus.

Father, we pray that your love, light, and peace may abound and be manifested in us more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. We pray that we may approve things that are excellent and that we may be sincere and without offence until the day of Christ. Father, we thank you, that we are born-again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, and that we may manifest the characteristics of your seed in our walk of life. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

This month's teaching is on the four characteristics of the one true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Seed. To understand these characteristics, we will first examine what being seeded means. Then, we will discuss the four characteristics of God's seed, as presented in the scripture, are:

  • Eternal life
  • Light
  • Love
  • Peace

Note: The sources for all Greek English words are Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, The Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek Word of God (Bullinger), Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible, The Word Study Concordance by George V. Wigram and Ralph D. Winter, The Bible Hub, Topical Lexicon, and Webster's Desk Dictionary of the English Language.

    Note: Bold for highlighting.

First, let's cover some background information. God gave us His Word so we can know the difference between a person born of His seed or a person born of the devil's seed. There is no excuse for God's children not knowing the seed characteristics of the devil's children. It is written in 2 Corinthians 2:11:

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

In the Word of God, genos is used to denote race, kind, family, offspring, or nation. It can refer to human ancestry, angelic or demonic kinds, species of animals, or spiritual categories such as gifts or roles within the church. The term bridges biological, social, and theological concepts, highlighting both hereditary identity and spiritual significance. The genos characteristics of "seed" as documented in Genesis is written in Genesis 1:11:

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind [genos], whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Let's look at the meanings in the phrase his kind, whose seed is in itself. The word kind is the Greek word genos meaning family or offspring. This tells us that each seed has a kind or genos. The seed of apple produces apples. The seed of oranges produces oranges, etc. Genesis 1:21 goes on to say:

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind [genos], and every winged fowl after his kind [genos]: and God saw that it was good.

This verse instructs us that animals and birds whose seed is in itself will reproduce after its kind (genos). The nature of the seed determines the nature of the animals and birds produced in that the seed of a whale produces a baby whale and the seed of a bird produces a baby bird.

In Genesis Chapter 3, God's Word discussed the two seeds. Seed of the woman (her seed) and seed of the serpent (thy seed). Based on the discussion so far, you understand seed and what it produces. It is important to note that seed cannot be changed. As it is written Genesis 3:15:

And I Lord God will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

In this verse, the word Lord is the Hebrew word Jehovah meaning God in relationship to that which He created. The word God is the Hebrew word Elohim meaning Creator. The word enmity is the Hebrew word eyvah meaning hostility. The word thee referred to the serpent. The phrase thy seed referred to the devil or serpent, while her seed referred to the woman. The phrase it [the woman's seed] shall bruise thy [serpent] head referred to the devil's total defeat by Jesus Christ's resurrection and ascension. The phrase thou shalt bruise his heel referenced the son of God's torture and death on the cross or tree. From this verse of scripture, we understand there are two seeds: thy seed referring to the devil and her seed referring to seed God created in the woman. This verse nor the rest of the chapter told us who her or her seed was. We must search, trace, track, and examine carefully in God's Word to determine who this referenced. It is written Luke 1:31 and 34-35:

And behold, thou [Mary] shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man [she had no sex with a man]?

And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost [God] shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Now, we understand that the her in Genesis 3:15 is Mary. But who is the seed of the woman documented in Genesis 3:15? We again must search, trace, track, and examine carefully in God's word to determine her seed's identity. It is written in Galatians 3:16:

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

We now understand that her seed in Genesis 3:15 is Christ, the anointed one, the Messiah.

When we search carefully and examine the scriptures, we will understand who the people born of the devil's seed are and begin to recognize their characteristics. As a reminder, it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4:

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

In this verse, the god of this world is the devil who has dominion over the world. He received it from Adam in Genesis 2:17 and 3:6. But the devil does not have ownership. Remember the documentation of the devil's temptation of Jesus? It is written in Luke 4:6:

And the devil said unto him [Jesus], All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Who delivered all this power and glory to the devil? Adam did (see Genesis 1:26). See September 2021 and October 2021 teachings for the differences in seed.

Before we continue, you might be asking how is the one true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ seed created in me? It is written in Romans 10:9-10:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved [made whole].

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

When you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart, the most inner part of your being operated by your mind, that God raised him from the dead, you are saved and made whole or born-again of God's Spirit (Romans 10:9). God, Elohim the Creator, creates His seed in you and you are born-again of His Spirit. It is written in 1 Peter 1:23:

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

You are born-again not of what? Corruptible seed. In contrast, you have the incorruptible seed by the word of God! God's seed is in you how long? Forever! People, my heart rejoices because God's seed is in me forever! We can never lose God's seed! Glory, hallelujah! It is written in Colossians 1:27:

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

This seed which is Christ in you the hope of glory is a tremendous truth. Everywhere we go, Christ goes with us! Once we are born-again of God's seed, we take the very nature of our spiritual Father God! The Word of God is the Will of God!

Each of the four characteristics of the one true God, the creator seed, are the opposite from the devil's seed. Let us search the scriptures carefully for four of the characteristics of God's seed. One of the characteristics of God, the creator, seed is eternal life. It is written in Romans 6:23:

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It is written in Titus 1:2:

In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.

It is written in 1 John 5:20:

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him [God] that is true, and we are in him [God] that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

In the seed the one true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ created in us is eternal life! And no one or anything in this life can take it away from us! Blessed be God our Father who has given us eternal life!

Another characteristic of God's seed is light. It is written in 1 John 1:5:

This then is the message which we have heard of him [God], and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

This verse is very clear. God, the one supreme whom is the fountain of life and light, is what? Light! And in him is what? No darkness at all! So, if there is no darkness in the one true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, then where does the darkness come from? You know the answer! The source of the darkness is the devil.

Another characteristic of God's seed is love. It is written in 1 John 4:8:

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

It is written in 1 John 4:16:

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love.

The fourth characteristic of God's seed is peace. It is written in Romans 15:33:

Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

It is written in 1 Corinthians 14:33:

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

In this verse, we see that God is not the author of what? Confusion or tumult, unquietness, disorder, instability, anarchy. We know that God is the author of what? Peace, an absolute end of all strife or trouble! If you have confusion in your life, it is not from the true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Confusion comes from the devil as the truth is distorted through the lies told by those seeded in him.

We have received eternal life (see Romans 6:23). We are light in the Lord: and we walk as children of light (see Ephesians 5:8). We must manifest the love of God which is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy spirit which is given unto us (see Romans 5:5), in the renewed mind (see Romans 12:2) in manifestation. We must let God's peace, an absolute end of all strife or trouble, rule in our hearts (Colossians 3:15)! When people see us, they must see the seed characteristics of the one true God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ in manifestation in our walk of life!

We must as children of God (see 1 John 3:2) renew our minds (see Romans 12:2) and walk with boldness and confidence knowing we have received the seed characteristics of the one true God and Father of our lord Jesus Christ which are eternal life, light, love and peace.

In this teaching, we reviewed the four characteristics of the one true God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Seed: Eternal life, Light, Love and Peace. While we briefly touched on this, I invite you to do a word study of each of these so you can understand the breadth and depth of God's Word concerning these characteristics.
We continued to enrich our understanding of how to be born-again of God's seed through the actions listed in Romans 10:9-10. We examined the difference between God's seed and the devil's seed. We saw that the key characteristic of the devil's seed is lying and can begin to recognize those born of the devil's seed by the lies they tell and their actions that are contrary to the truth of God's Word.

We thank God always for you, my brethren. Be mature, be of good comfort, be of one mind, knowing that you have received eternal life. As you walk in light, love, and peace, may the God of eternal life, light, love, and peace be with you. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with you all, Amen.

The Word of God is the Will of God. You are Blessed.
