And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the Ministry of Reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

II Corinthians 5: 18-20

Father, thank you for your love. Thank you for your Word that tells us your will for our lives. Father, thank you for your only begotten son and his walk on your Word as an example for us to follow in love. Thank for your Word being the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe. Thank you, Father, for supplying all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Jesus Christ. Amen

The September 2018 teaching is focused on how Love equals action! The love of God inspires people to be their best. Love is to do. Love is to act. God's Word is His commandments. If you love God, you keep His commandments. Jesus Christ gave a new commandment to his disciples in John 13:34: A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I [Jesus] have loved you, that you also love one another.

Jesus said this was a new commandment which implied it had not been given in the past. Jesus gave a new way to love - a new way to act in God's Word. This month's teaching subject is: Our new way to love (agape/agapao). See February 2018 Teaching.

Jesus Christ made it obtainable for believers today to comprehend and live God's love in all its fullness.

The book of Romans is the first of the seven church epistles addressed to the body of Christ after Pentecost. The seven church epistles are Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians and Thessalonians. These epistles are addressed to us in the Grace Administration which we now live in. Agapao love is defined as the Love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation.

The first use of agapao love used in the church epistles is in Romans 5:5:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us (See February 2018 Teaching).

The love of God has been abundantly poured out into our hearts by the holy spirit given to us when we were born again of God's Spirit. When we confess Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we were born-again of God's Spirit (Romans 10:9). So, you see, the love of God has flooded us within, it's in our spirit, it's on the inside. When Christ came, he brought it with him. It is Christ in you the hope of glory (see Colossians 1:27)! Remember when God's Word refers to God as Holy Spirit it is capital letters. When God's Word refers to God's gift of holy spirit, it is lower case letters.

Now how do we manifest this spiritual love of God in the senses' world? We must believe in our minds what we have received spiritually. We must develop our knowledge of God's Word on this new kind of love, and manifest it by believing God's Word and acting on it. We receive God's love and His Spirit with all the power and enablement to prevail! We teach our household and families this new kind of love by our walk of love. God gave us this love; nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ! Romans 8:35:

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

This verse lists seven things people might face in their life at one time or another. But can any of these things separate us from the love of Christ? No! God never promises in His Word that our lives will be free from problems or mental pressures, but He has given us everything we need to overcome and prevail. God has given us the authority and power to rise above tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword, by manifesting His strength and power. It is God's light that dispel darkness. 2 Corinthians 4:6:

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

It's the light of the glory of God in us that people must see! They must see us living faithful to God's Word in our lives. We must be living epistles that men and women can read and see the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ! This doesn't mean we won't make mistakes. In fact, God's Word says we are going to make mistakes. But when we do make a mistake, it is not a deliberate, cunning action of wrongly dividing God's Word. Our mistake is simply a lack of knowledge of God's Word. Once we know more of God's Word, we correct it. Let's continue with 2 Corinthians 4:7:

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

"This treasure" we have is the light of the knowledge of the glory of God; it is His Word and His gift of holy spirit. "Earthen vessels" are our physical bodies, with this treasure; God's gift of holy spirit inside, where we have access to His abounding power. Knowing this "the excellency of the power may be of God," we can now focus on God's unlimited ability in us and not on ourselves. We can "be strong in the lord and the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10)! When God's Word dominates our thinking and actions, nothing can prevail against us!

Let's look at Romans 8:36-37:

As it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Nay [no!], in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

God's Word says "no," we are more than conquerors! And the words "more than" means super conquerors! We may not be superman, but we are super conquerors! Look at the power of this new kind of love "shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us" (Romans 5:5)!

Let's keep reading; there is more! Romans 8:38-39:

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When we are born again of God's Spirit, we are sons and daughters of God, and we have rights and privileges. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ. God has made us super conquerors in any situation, and nothing can separate us from the love of God! I am persuaded by God's Word that nothing can separate me from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. In the book of Ephesians, there is a prayer that declares God's love for you and me. Look at Ephesians 3:16:

That he [God] would grant you [the born-again believer], according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.

The "inner man" refers to God's gift of holy spirit. According to God's Word, the only way you can be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man is by speaking in tongues. "He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth [builds up his spirit in] himself" (1 Corinthians 14:4). Speaking in tongues builds up that inner man which is sprit! If we love God, we keep His commandments. John 4:24 says, "God is Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." When you are rooted and grounded in love, you worship God in the spirit!

Let's continue in Ephesians 3:17:

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith [believing]; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love.

This verse says we are to be rooted and grounded in love. Love is the soil in which we grow and the foundation which we build. Being rooted and grounded in love allows us to accomplish Ephesians 3:18.

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height.

There are four dimensions of our love for God our Father listed in this verse: breadth, and length, and depth, and height. Let's define each one.

  1. "Breadth" shows the quality and richness in life as we learn to love God and manifest God's love as Jesus Christ did.
  2. "Length" refers to time. We have length of days now and we have the hope of eternal life when Christ return. God's love will extend throughout eternity!
  3. "Height" stands for the elevated position of God's Word. We learned from God's Word we are seated in the heavenlies in Christ (Ephesians 2:6). "Height" also represents how God's love elevates us to a position of power, where we manifest God's love by living His Word!
  4. "Depth" is listed last in the critical Greek texts. The parameters of breadth, length and height were previously used in God's Word regarding when God wanted to build. It was not until the Grace Administration that "depth" is used in the Bible. It is a new concept that embodies the spiritual recognition available in our day and time. God by His Spirit in us can enlighten the eyes of our understanding to the deep things of His Word. As sons and daughters of God, we can know by experience this new kind love, which has breadth (that is infinite), length (that is endless), height (that are immeasurable) and depth (that are unfathomable)!

Ephesians 3:19:

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The Word "know" is the Greek Word "ginosko" to know by experience. We are to know, by experience, the love of Christ which passes knowledge! Once we experience the love of Christ, then we can be filled with all the fullness of God! This is how Jesus Christ lived every moment of his life! Learning and living God's love enables us to believe God can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

Ephesians 3:20:

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

God can do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think when we love God and keep His Word. I exhort you to focus on God's ability in you.

Remember the exhortation in Hebrews 10:35-36:

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

God our Father loves us, and He will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to His Word.

This month's teaching focused on Agape/Agapao: A new way to love.

We receive God's love and His Spirit with all the power and enablement to prevail! We teach our household and families this new kind of love by our walk of love. God gave us this love, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ!

It's the light of the glory of God in us that people must see! They must see us living faithfully with God's Word in our lives. We must be living epistles that men and women can watch and see the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ! This doesn't mean we won't make mistakes. In fact, God's Word says we are going to make mistakes. Our mistakes are a lack of knowledge of God's Word. Once we know more of God's Word, we correct it.

We as born-again believers have a "treasure" which is the light of the knowledge of the glory of God; it is His Word and His gift of holy spirit. Our "earthen vessels" are our physical bodies. With this treasure, God's gift of holy spirit inside, we have access to His abounding power. Knowing this "the excellency of the power may be of God." We must focus on God's unlimited ability in us and not on ourselves. We can be "strong in the lord and the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10)!

All born-again believers every day can renew their minds to experience this new kind of love, which has breadth (that is infinite), length (that is endless), heights (that are immeasurable) and depth (that are unfathomable)!

Father, thank you for this new way to love one another. We acknowledge your might, your greatness, and your unlimited power. Thank you, Father, for giving us the potential to love each other the same way you love us. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen
