God loves us!
Father, I thank you for your love for us through your son the Lord
Jesus Christ. I thank you for giving us enteral life. Father, I
am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from your love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
In the February 2018 article, we learned
that the love or "Agapao" of God in the renewed mind in
manifestation does not:
- Behave
itself unseemly,
- Seeks
not self-interest,
- Is
not easily provoked,
- Thinks
no evil,
- Does
not rejoice in iniquity.
"
Agapao love" of God in the renewed mind in manifestation does:
- Suffer
long,
- Is
kind,
- Rejoice
in the truth,
- Bear
all things,
- Believe
all things,
- Hope
all things, and
- Endure
all things.
The
love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation never fails. We
keep our heart, soul, strength, and mind in God's Word. We speak
God's Word in love. We meditate and manifest God's love day and
night. By doing this, we make our way prosperous, and have good
success in this life.
This month's teaching subject is on God's call to love. God loved
His son the Lord Jesus Christ and us before the foundation of the
world. God's call to love started when He created seed in the woman.
In Genesis 3:15, the Word tells us:
And
I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy
seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise
his heel.
God's
Word said the woman's seed shall bruise Satan's head, and Satan
shall bruise Jesus' heel. Now we know biologically, physically,
and genetically a woman does not have seed; the male has seed. God
created seed in Mary, and she delivered God's only begotten son.
Galatians 3:16 tells us that that seed was Christ:
Now
to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not,
and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which
is Christ.
Christ
was the seed from God to Mary. God's seed was given the name Jesus
on the earth. When the adversary had Jesus killed, God raised him
from the dead on the third day. And after forty days, God took Jesus
up and sat him down at His own right hand. The name Christ was given
when Jesus' location changed from earth to heaven, as he was raised
from the dead, and exalted in glory! Our position, blessing and
standing before God is in Christ, and we are seated at the right
hand of God! God demonstrated His love by giving His only begotten
son.
Let us read John 3:16:
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life. (see February 2018 article
for more on this)
In
the Gospel of John, we read where God loved Jesus before the foundation
of the world. John 17:24-26:
Father,
I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where
I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst ["Agapao" the love of God in the
renewed mind in manifestation] me before the foundation of
the world.
O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have
known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
And I have declared unto them thy name and will declare it: that
the love ["Agapao" the love of God in the renewed
mind in manifestation] wherewith thou hast loved ["Agapao"
the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation] me may
be in them, and I in them.
What
a magnificent prayer Jesus made to his Father God! Jesus said "thou
lovedst ["Agapao" the love of God in the renewed mind
in manifestation] me before the foundation of the world."
God had "Agapao love" for Jesus before the foundation
of the world, and God our Father had "Agapao love" for
us before the foundation of the world. Let us read Ephesians 1:4-6:
According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus
Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made
us accepted in the beloved.
God
chose us, the born-again believers, before the foundation of the
world! We did not choose Him. God in His foreknowledge knew who
would believe His Word and do it! God called us to love Him. Our
God and Father is rich in mercy. Mercy is defined as God withholding
of judgment and has great love toward us! Let us look at Ephesians
2:4-6:
But
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith
he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened [made
alive] us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And
hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus.
Because
God so loved us, He raised us, the born-again believers, up together
with Christ and sat us together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
So, while we are here on earth, we are already seated in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus. The Word of God is the Will of God. Let's
continue with Ephesians 2:7:
That
in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his
grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
When
you really think about what God has done for us in Christ Jesus,
it blows your mind! I just cannot begin to tell you how thankful
I am to God our Father for what He has already done for me in Christ
Jesus by His grace! Continue with Ephesians 2:8-10:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good
works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
We
are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works and
we are to walk in them. My first workmanship was of my mother and
father and was limited to my physical existence. My second workmanship
is of God and it is everlasting life. Because of Jesus' love, he
died for us, the ungodly. The "ungoldly" was you and I
before we were born again. Let's read Romans 5:6-8:
For
when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for
the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet
peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God
commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
God
commended His love towards us. Remember, we are of flesh and have
the old man-nature of sin. For a teaching on this, see the August
2016 article. Despite all this, Christ died for us, and we are
now justified by his blood and saved from the wrath to come. Look
at Romans 5:9:
Much
more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved
[made whole] from wrath through him [Christ Jesus].
How
wonderful and thankful I am that God has saved us from the wrath
to come through Jesus Christ. And God has reconciled us back to
Himself by the death of His son. (See February
2016 article for more on this.) Romans 5:10-11:
For
if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death
of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved [made
whole] by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the
atonement.
We
joy in God our Father through our Lord Christ Jesus because we have
received atonement! 1 John says we are now God's son and daughters
through Christ Jesus. God's Word says we are sons and daughters
of God and the world knows us not. Turn to 1 John 3:1-3:
Behold,
what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we
should be called the sons of God: therefore, the world knoweth
us not, because it knew him [Christ Jesus] not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear
what we shall be: but we know that, when he [Christ Jesus]
shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as
he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even
as he is pure.
When
are we sons and daughters of God? Now! It has nothing to do with
the way you feel. God, our Father, loves His Children. This "Agapeo
love" is continual and not contingent on us - it is from God.
God's children are those that have believed and confessed Romans
10:9-10:
That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Once
you believe and confess Romans 10:9-10, you are a child of God -
a son or daughter of God. God loved (Agapeo) us before the foundation
of the world. And because of that love, He sent His son to be payment
for our sins. Look at 1 John 4:10-13:
Herein
is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent
his Son to be the propitiation [payment] for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God
dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we
that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of
his Spirit.
Every
time you speak in tongues, you know that God's spirit is in you
and He dwells in us. Continue with 1 John 4:14-15:
And
we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be
the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is
the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
God's
Word says whosoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God
dwells in him, and he dwells with God. Because of God's "Agapeo
love" for us, we are always with Him. That's what God's Word
says and that's what is means! 1 John 4:16:
And
we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is
love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in
him.
We
know God is love (Agapeo). We believe the love that God has toward
us because of what He has done for us through Christ Jesus His only
begotten son. 1 John 4:17-19:
Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day
of judgment: because as he [Christ Jesus] is, so are we
in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because
fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
We love him, because he first loved us.
When
I was a little boy growing up, I imitated my earthly father and
mother the best I could. I wanted them to love me. God's Word in
Ephesians tells us to be imitators of God as beloved children. We
do this because we love God. Ephesians 5:1:
Be
ye therefore followers [imitators] of God, as dear [beloved]
children.
How
do we imitate God? By doing the works that Jesus Christ did. He
always did the Will of his Father. As we grew and matured, we imitated
our earthly fathers and mothers or significant care-givers. As born-again
believers growing in the Word, we are to imitate our spiritual Father
God by doing His Will through what is taught in is His Word! We
are to walk in love toward our heavenly Father. Ephesians 5:2:
And
walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself
for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling
savior.
We
are to walk how? We are to walk - action verb - in the "Agapeo
love" of God in the renewed mind in manifestation. We have
to renew our minds to recognize Christ has loved us and given himself
for us.
In
summary, we discussed that God loved us before the foundation of
the world. We reviewed the record where Christ is the seed of woman
prophesized in Genesis 3:15. The Word of God challenges us to demonstrate
this power of God by imitating God by doing the works that Jesus
Christ did. We are to walk in the love of God in the renewed mind
in manifestation.
Father,
I thank you for loving us before the foundation of the world. I
thank you for giving your only begotten son as payment for our sins.
I thank you that we are your sons and daughters walking in love.
I thank you for the authority and power you have given us in the
name of your son the Lord Jesus Christ. For I am persuaded, that
neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor
any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, our Father, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
Next
month's teaching subject will continue to explore the action word
"Agapao" or love which is defined as the love of God in
the renewed mind in manifestation.
