And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the Ministry of Reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the Word of Reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Father, thank you for your love for us in your household through your only begotten son the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you that we can manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation towards one another in your Household and in the one body in Christ. Amen

The June 2018 teaching focused on I Samuel chapters 17-19 - Souls knitted together in love. The Lord was with David when God put the Philistine's champion into David's' hands and brought a great victory to Israel. King Saul took David to his household, and Jonathan, Saul's son, loved David as his own soul. Jonathan and David's souls were knitted together in love. When Saul became jealous of David, he tried many times to kill him. But Jonathan kept David informed of his father's plan because of their covenant with one another which they made before the Lord. David loved Jonathan with Agape love - the love of God. David wrote a beautiful Eulogy in recognition of Saul and Jonathan's lives. God said, "I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will" (Acts 13:22). May we all have the heart to fulfill all of God's will!

This month teaching subject is Love in the Household - one body in Christ.
In the book of Philippians, Paul, by divine revelation, wrote to the Philippians to correct the practical error for not adhering to the revelation written in Ephesians. Philippians 1:27 tells us:

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith [faith of Jesus Christ] of the gospel.

We have all received one spirit from God our Father and we are to stand fast in one mind striving together for the faith of Jesus Christ in the good news of the gospel. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:3 that every man and woman receives the same measure of faith (the faith of Jesus Christ) when he or she confesses Jesus as Lord and believes in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9). Romans 12:3-5 says:

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according to as God hath dealt with every man [and woman] the measure of faith [faith of Jesus Christ].

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office
[function]:

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and everyone members one of another.

This one body in Christ stands fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the good news of the gospel. How do we get this one body and one mind working together? We get it by abundantly manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the body of Christ! 2 Corinthians 2:4 states:

For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.

In this verse, Paul wrote the Corinthians because they were walking in practical error; they were not standing together in one household and one body in Christ in love. Because of Paul's abundant love for them, he wrote a letter of correction or reprove to them with "many tears." When reproof is given, it is given out of love. Reproof is simply correction - it is not judgment. And when reproof is given, it is given according to the Word of God. God loved us enough to give us a written manual on how to live life more than abundantly. To stay in one accord, the one body in Christ must manifest the love of God in the renewed mind. II Timothy 3:16 tells us:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Let's expound on II Timothy 3:16. How was scripture given? "By inspiration of God." This literally means God breathed. What is the scripture profitable for? "Doctrine" or right believing, "for Reproof" when we are not believing rightly, "for Correction" believing rightly. Scriptures are instruction in what? "Righteousness." What is the purpose of the scriptures? Go to II Timothy 3:17:

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Let's repeat this verse so that we understand the purpose of the scriptures - "That the man [or woman] of God may be perfect [or mature] and thoroughly [or from the inside-out] furnished [equipped] unto all good works." The Bible tells us that "instruction in righteousness" is the purpose of "all scripture given by inspiration of God." The man or woman that walks for God, that is born of His Spirit can turn to the scriptures for instruction and to see God's love for us. God gave his only begotten son so that we could have everlasting life. The least we can do is accept God's love by receiving the doctrine, the reproof, the correction and the instruction provided by His Word.

Remember John 3:16?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

True love always involves giving. God so loved us that He gave His only begotten son so that we can become sons and daughters of God. In the one household and one body in Christ, in love, we say what God's Word says! We all speak the same things and we all act on the same Word of God! God's Word tells us what the first and second commandments in His Word are. Matthew 22: 37-40 tells us:

Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

And the second is like, unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The first thing we do is love God. The second thing we do is love our neighbor as we love ourselves. You cannot manifest the true love of God if you don't love yourself. Most born again Christians don't love themselves because of a lack of understanding of what God's Word says we are and what Jesus Christ accomplished for us. They look at their flesh not at the Christ in them the hope glory (see Colossians 1:27). The Word of God in Romans 8:1 says:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Colossians 3:4 confirms this:

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

God's Word says who is our life? Christ. We have a life if we have Christ in us, the hope of glory. The only way you can get Christ in you is by confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead (Romans 10:9). You and I are who we are today because of the words we have believed and acted upon. Now we must renew our mind to God's will which is His Word. We must renew our minds because of our love for God our Father and each other in the Household in the one body in Christ.

Colossians 3:8-9 tells us to put off those things of this world:

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds
[works].

Before we were born again of God's spirit, we did the works of the old man of body and soul (see teaching February 2016). Now that we are born again of God's spirit, we must renew our minds to put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him in love in the household and in the one body in Christ.

Colossians 3:10-11 continues with:

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all and in all.

There is no place for racism and bigotry in the one household and one body in Christ! We see it in the world because the world belongs to Satan. In the household and in the one body in Christ, "Christ is all, and in all" according this God's Word. We must renew our minds to put on the new man which thinks and acts according to God' Words and His spirit in us.

Colossians 3:12-13 tells us:

Put on therefore, as the elect of God [chosen of God], holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye
.

God's Word says we are to forbear one another and forgive one another in the Household and in the one body in Christ. And above all, we are to have the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the household and in the one body in Christ!

Let's continue this reading with Colossians 3:14:

And above all these things put on charity [the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation], which is the bond of perfectness.

Love in the household and in the one body in Christ "is the bond of perfectness"! The love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation is what keeps the household in the one body in Christ in one accord. We are to let the peace of God rule in our hearts in the household in the one body in Christ.

Finally, Colossians 3:15 says:

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

God's Word says to do these things in our daily life in order to manifest the mind of Christ. Walking with one mind and one body in Christ means we are one household speaking the same things as God's Word says! When we do this, we will have peace in our hearts and we will manifest thankfulness.

2 Corinthians 13:11 tells us:

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect [mature], be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Paul saw that the Corinthian people had walked away from what this verse instructed. He used the Word of God to reprove and correct them. Once they heeded the reproof and correction they once again were of one mind, living in peace, and the God of love and peace was with them.

We have all received one spirit from God our Father. We are to stand fast in one mind striving together for the faith of Jesus Christ in the good news of the gospel. Keep Romans 12:3 in your heart as you come together in one mind and one body - For every man and woman received the same measure of faith (the faith of Jesus Christ), when he or she confess Jesus as Lord and believed in his or her heart that God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9).

God's Word serves as instruction for our life. He gave us the two most important commandments as instruction. The first thing we are to do in the household and in the one body in Christ is love God. The second instruction is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.

God's word says, who is our life? Christ. We have a life if we have Christ in us the hope of glory. The love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the Household and in the one body in Christ "is the bond of perfectness"!

This one body in Christ stands fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the good news of the gospel. The only way this can happen is to abundantly manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the Household of God and in the body of Christ!

Father, I thank you for making your Word living in the household and in the one body in Christ. Father, I thank you that we can be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind in your household. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Next month's teaching subject is the Expert of love.

In the Lord,

Ministry of Reconciliation
Son of God through Jesus Christ
