Father, thank you for loving us and giving us your only begotten son as payment for our sins. Thank you for being an expert at demonstrating your love for us through your son. Father thank you for your Word that teaches us how to become experts at manifesting your love in your household. Thank you for giving us power and authority in the name of your son. Amen.

The July 2018 teaching focused on Love in the Household - one body in Christ. The first thing we are to do in the household and in the one body in Christ is love God. The second instruction is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. This one body in Christ stands fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the good news of the gospel. The only way this can happen is to abundantly manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the Household of God and in the body of Christ!

This month's teaching subject: Experts of love.

The dictionary defines the word "Expert" as a person who has a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of or skill in an area. We desire to have a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge and skill in manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind. We must learn how to be experts at demonstrating the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the body of Christ! God our Father and His son the Lord Jesus Christ are experts at manifesting love. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous (1 John 5:3).

God is the expert of love. John 3:16 says:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God is the originator of love. He is the expert at manifesting love! All love requires action. God manifested His love for us when we were dead in trespasses and sins because of Adam and Eve's actions. 1 John 4:9-10:

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Herein is love, not that we loved [agapao] God, but that he loved [agapao] us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation [payment] for our sins.

God sent His only begotten son to be payment for our sins! 2 Corinthians 5:21 tells us:

For he [God] hath made him [Jesus Christ] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

God so loved us that he made His only begotten son to be sin for us. Jesus knew no sin, yet gave his life for us. God showed love for us through His son. We are God's masterpieces. God had done a perfect work in Christ Jesus and a perfect work in that gift we received when we were born again.

Ephesians 2:10 tells us:

For we are his [God's] workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 1:3 tells us more about these blessings of love:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath [past tense] blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

God's Word says we are blessed! Some days I don't feel blessed, but I always am! Ephesians 1:4 shows us God's action of love:

According as he [God] hath chosen us [the born-again believers] in him [God] before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love [in Christ-your walk].

God chose us (the born-again believers) before the foundation of the world! We did not choose Him. God in His foreknowledge knew who would believe His Word and do it! God called us to love Him.

Our God and Father is rich in mercy (mercy is defined as God withholding of judgment) and has great love towards us! Let us look at Ephesians 2:4-6:

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened [made alive] us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Because God so loved us, He raised us, the born-again believers, up together with Christ, and sat us together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So, while we are here on earth, we are already seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The Word of God is the Will of God.

Jesus Christ is the expert of love. Jesus Christ, God's only begotten son, imitates His father's love towards us by keeping God's Word! Jesus said if a man or woman loves me, they will keep my words. John 14:23-24:

Jesus answered and said unto him, if a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

Jesus Christ always did the will of his Father! Jesus said as the Father has love for him, Jesus has love for us. John 15:9-10:

As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

How do we abide in Jesus Christ's love? By keeping his commandments. John 15:11-12:

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.

When we become experts at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation toward one another we are fulfilling Jesus's teachings. John 15:17-20:

These things I command you, that ye love one another.

If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

When we keep Jesus Christ's words in our hearts and in our walk, others will see God and Christ in all we do and say. It is God's commandment that we love each other, and manifest that love in the renewed mind.

The Body of Christ is an expert of love. We demonstrate our love for God by keeping His commandments and believing in His only begotten son. We know we can go to God's Word to see how to become children of God. Romans 10:9:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord [master] Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Because of our love for God, we believe God's Word and act on it. We are born again of God's Spirit by following the instructions in Romans 10:9. We can immediately speak in tongues, and manifest God's love.

In Ephesians 5:1-2, God's Word tells us to:

Be ye therefore followers [imitators] of God, as dear children;

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savior.

We are to be imitators of God as beloved children. Without the Spirit of God in you (which is sonship), it is impossible to manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation!

Now that we are born again, it is important to understand that we are now called sons and daughters of God. Let's look at 1 John 3:1:

Behold [pay attention], what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.

Look at the love God has for us that we are called sons and daughters of God! When are we sons and daughters of God? The answer is found in 1 John 3:2:

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We are sons and daughters of God NOW! That is so magnificent, that's incredible! I am a son of God through Jesus Christ, and so are you!
This new birth is a spiritual birth but what happens to our fleshly minds when we were born-again? Nothing. We have the same minds we had before we were born-again. Remember John 3: 6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Flesh and spirit are two separated categories in the Bible and they never overlap. (See October 2016 article).

When we are born into this world, we are born with just body and soul only. The body and soul person gathers information from the five senses - Seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. As a body and soul person, we are dead in trespasses and sins having no hope and without God in the world. The spiritual person doesn't throw out the senses knowledge. We all need senses knowledge because we live in the body and soul dominion. But our standard of life, of believing, of righteousness, is the spiritual knowledge, the revealed Word of God.

If you and I want to be experts at the love of God, in the renewed mind in manifestation, we must love God our Father, Jesus Christ and keep God's Word. To keep God's Word, we first must know God's Word. 2 Timothy 2:15 tells us we must:

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Romans 12:1-2 provides more instruction:

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable [religion] service.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The renewing of our minds transforms our love for God, His son and our brother and sisters in God's household, so that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect Will of God. How do we renew our minds? One definition of the renewed mind is to hold the Word of God in your mind and act accordingly (see October 2016 article). We must renew our minds to put God's Word in our mind, people. We must walk by the Word of God. What you believe in is what you say and do. Your mind directs your talk, walk and your actions! The Word of God is the Will of God!

1 John 3:11 reminds us:

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

This message continues in 1 John 3:14:

We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

How do we know we have passed from death to life? When we are experts at loving the brothers and sisters in the household of God, according to God's Word! God's Word tells us how to be experts at loving one another in His household. 1 John 3:18-22:

My little children let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deeds [works] and in truth.

And hereby we know that we are of the truth and shall assure our hearts before him.

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

Beloved, if our heart condemns us not, then have we confidence toward God.

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. [Bold added for emphasis]

When you walk out of love, you walk right into condemnation. When our earthly children do those things we asked them to do, don't we give them what they ask? How much more will our heavenly Father give us for doing those things that are pleasing in his sight? 1 John 3:23:

And this is his commandment, that we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. [Bold added for emphasis]

If we love God, we keep His commandments. To love one another is a commandment to all born again believers! This is not an option! The Will of God is the Word of God! We believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ and we are experts at loving one another. 1 John 4:7:

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

We must renew our minds to be experts at loving one another in the body of Christ. Why? Because the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation is of God. This is how the world knows you are born of God and know God! 1 John 4:8:

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

If you don't manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation, you don't know God our Father. 1 John 4:11:

Beloved, if God so loved [agapao] us, we ought also to love [agapao] one another.

Just as our earthly parents love us and taught us by example, God demonstrated how to love by giving His only begotten son in love. 1 John 4:12:

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love [agapao] one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

When we become experts at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation toward one another, people know that God dwells in us! His love is perfected in us! We put love into action; people see those actions. We become walking ads for God's love. 1 Corinthians 8:1-3:

Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity [love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation] edifieth [builds up].

And if any man thinks that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

But if any man loves God, the same is known of him.

When we become experts at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in God's household, our brothers and sisters are edified, and God knows who we are. 1 Peter 4:8:

And above all things have fervent charity [the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation] among yourselves: for charity [love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation] shall cover the multitude of sins.

We must have a zealous desire to become experts at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in God's household among ourselves! The love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in God's household covers a multitude of sins.

How do you know you have become an expert at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifesting in God's household? One answer is 1 Corinthians 13 (see February 2018 teaching). This is the greatest chapter on experts of love. When we manifest the love of God in the renewed mind in manifesting in God's household, it will echo 1 Corinthians 13.

The love (agapao) of God in the renewed mind in manifestation:

• Suffers long,
• Is kind,
• Rejoices in the truth,
• Bears all things,
• Believes all things,
• Hopes all things,
• Endures all things,
• Never fails.
  

In this month's teachings, we read how God and His son Jesus Christ demonstrated their love for us. We learned how to be experts at demonstrating the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation in the body of Christ! We learned we must renew our minds to what God's Word says love is and do it.

Remember, when we become experts at manifesting the love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation, people will know we are sons and daughters of God. If we really love God and His son, we will become experts at loving one another in the body of Christ.

Let us pray: Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. The Lord will make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and towards all men, even as we do toward you. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work. Amen.
